Santa Cruz Bicycles Heckler - E-Bike In 1996 the original Heckler was created as a rude interruption to mountain bike designs of the time. Its solid, full-suspension build and aggressive swagger proved that a well-proportioned trail bike could elevate rider’s on-trail experiences.
Today’s Heckler carries all that attitude forward into a new era.
Our bikes have always been about amplifying fun. Our goal for this bike was to make something light and agile and trying to get as close as we can to the experience of riding a bike like the Bronson. Weighing in at 46 pounds the Heckler is among the very lightest e-MTBs in its class. The 500wh integrated battery keeps the weight down and the 27.5-inch wheels keep the bike playful and manoeuvrable in order to make the most of the trail. The slack head angle (65.5-degree) and 445mm chainstay length provide a snappy and fun feel while still providing traction for when the trail gets steep and technical, both up and down.
It's all very good reading how the bikes feel, or how it rides. What we want to do is provide you with the opportunity to be the very first in the UK to put the Heckler to the test.
For two weekends, we will be at Pedal A Bike Away in the middle of the Forest of Dean and the Tweed Valley with our good friends at Tweed Valley Guides. Along with our fleet of brand NEW Santa Cruz Hecklers.
We have a range of sizes for you to choose from which you can book. We will have two sessions per day. One in the morning and one in the afternoon. Can we please ask that you choose one or the other and not both. That way we can share the joy and provide good times to more of you.
These will be guided rides, allowing you to ride with others and with Santa Cruz Staff, allowing you to go deep into the knowledge of the Heckler.
Each ride will be roughly 2 to 3 hours providing plenty of time to push the Heckler to its limits.
We will be charging £20 per booking. 100% of the money raised will be donated to the local Trail Associations.
